xp log: oshitari, shinji and kippei

It felt good to be somewhat more in control of himself than he was, Oshitari thought as he meandered down the hallway from his room. He still had his moments, times where he wasn't sure if everything around him was reality or not, or if he was still strapped and drugged in that damned lab room, but they were more spaced out now, less severe then they had been. And he wasn't attacking the entire household with his power anymore either. Well, hardly ever.

It was...strange...to say the least, being able to feel his own psionic energy in his mind, when he wasn't using his power. He needed to sit down and figure out exactly how it all worked now, and why, but with everything that had been going on, he simply hadn't thought about it much at all. Now that they had Saeki back, and recovering, and the rest of the house was relatively normal, he supposed he could work on it.

Or he could start his plans to obliterate the rest of the laboratories on his list...perhaps pay the Humanity Now group a visit for their treatment of Koujirou. The thoughts had him stopping outside of Shinji and Tachibana's door. He had seen neither hide nor hair of them since Shinji had gone tearing from his room over the spider incident; which he had no recollection of, but Akira assured him the other blue haired mutant had 'freaked out'. A bit impulsively, he tried the knob, found it locked for once (amusing) and rapped sharply on the door three times.

Shhh. I'll do whatever you want, I promised. Shinji smiled and leant back a little to look up at Kippei, wishing he could change the way Kippei just really didn't like Yuushi, but it wasn't that Kippei didn't like him, he just didn't like that any of Shinji's attention went to anyone else, which...well, Shinji wasn't about to stop paying attention to everything else, and he liked that Kippei wanted him that bad, so really he didn't want to change anything. Except that it hurt Kippei, even a tiny little bit.

I love you. Just a little reminder.

"Mmmm...I want you to play my song then," he told Yuushi resolutely. Because he had a song, and that was damn cool.

Oshitari cocked his head, long fingers coming up to tap at his lips briefly. "Your song...Shinji's Theme..." he murmured, mind already sorting through the music pages still scattered on his desk since before his...what? Absence? He'd been gone? It was a flitting thought as he shrugged it aside again.

After a long moment, he began to hum the melody. It was harder to get the nuances of the violin with just his voice but it was very obviously the song he'd written the other mutant as he began to quietly vocalize it.

Kippei shifted his weight, awkwardly, slightly embarrassed that Shinji had called him on it, but it did help to hear that I love you in his mind. A little bit, but it helped.

He was slightly puzzled at the mention of a song... he remembered vaguely something about it, but it was still weird. Shinji had a song?

Delighted, Shinji leant forward, close to Yuushi so he could hear it better. It amazed him, how well Yuushi had captured what he felt like with music. He had never heard Yuushi sing before either, but he was good! A slow smile spread across Shinji's face as he listened avidly, unconciously deleting every thought in the area except the music and sending it out.

Drawing up his legs on the bed so that he could sprawl next to Shinji more comfortably, Oshitari continued, his voice almost purring out the notes. The look on Tachibana's face was amusing, and he almost smirked at it. If the man's eyebrows went any higher they'd blend right into his hairline.

But, he went back to keeping his attention on Shinji, obediently stroking Kii when the little kitten woke and mewed at him.
