EN AU: part two
Jun. 11th, 2006 07:18 pmKippei didn't bother sleeping; he didn't need that much, so he spent a long time watching Shinji sleep, stroking his hair and making plans. He wanted to get away from here as soon as possible, before Shinji was missed and people started looking for him. Being a rogue vampire the way he was, he didn't have an old ancestral home--he'd probably been kicked out of it, not that he remembered. It had been a long time ago, in any case, and he'd been sleeping for a long time lately. The world was a different place now than it had been the last time he was awake, and he'd been using his psychic powers to pick things out of human thoughts about how things should work and what was expected in this day and age, using whatever he saw fit and disregarding the rest, as usual.
He was planning to take Shinji to Russia, where he had an old house that he had lived in for awhile a few centuries ago. It was probably deserted now, he'd never bothered with caretakers, but he still owned the place and it was a solid stone structure which should still be in good condition. They could fly, which he was still wary of; he'd never heard of machines that could fly, but it was the fastest way to get Shinji very far away from here, so that was what they'd do. It was very early morning now, and Shinji had been worried about dawn, probably for good reason. Kippei assumed that was when he'd be missed if he wasn't home. Time to go, then. He leaned down to kiss Shinji awake, reveling in the fact that he could. Shinji was his.
"Wake up, beautiful, it's time to go," he told Shinji, a soft growl in his ear as he nuzzled at the soft skin there. Shinji was perfect, just damn perfect.

Date: 2006-06-12 12:38 am (UTC)Tachibana Kippei. Shinji sat bolt upright in bed and back up into the corner again, wide eyed as he stared at Kippei. Not a dream...his hand went to his neck but he couldn't feel bite marks; already healed but he could feel the grogginess that came from a vampire's feeding. Tears immediately spilled again, along with anger.
"You bastard! I told you not to! You didn't have permission, you didn't have the right! You're not allowed to do that! You ruined everything!" Akutsu would hate him; he wasn't pure anymore. He was tained. Tainted by Tachibana fucking Kippei. "I hate you!"

Date: 2006-06-12 12:54 am (UTC)"You shouldn't hate me," he stated, reaching out to wrap his fingers around Shinji's wrist and pull him closer again. "I'm going to give you everything. You're going to have me; you don't need anything else," he said calmly, looking down at Shinji with dark, possessive eyes. "You should stop thinking so much." He put a hand on the back of Shinji's neck and pulled him in for a hard, demanding kiss, thrusting his tongue into the heat of Shinji's mouth and then pulling away again, smirking, before Shinji could think about biting him. Not that he didn't want Shinji to bite him, but he rather wanted to make Shinji wait for it, to let him figure out that he wanted to, and not just because he was mad.

Date: 2006-06-12 01:07 am (UTC)"What did I tell you about killing yourself?" he demanded. "No, you will not, you may not, and I will not let you. Stop trying, or I will drug you until we get home." He leaned closer, putting pressure on Shinji with his body and his mind, forcing him into submission. "You're mine, and I will not let you die, by your hand or any other. You're coming with me and you'll do it quietly, and if you try to kill yourself again I'm going back to kill your precious 'master'," he sneered.

Date: 2006-06-12 01:11 am (UTC)"Home is with Akutsu," he sneered instead. And he made sure he thought of a lifetime of 'going homes' with Master, because he had the sneaking suspicion Tachibana had a hint of that talent.

Date: 2006-06-12 01:20 am (UTC)"That's not your home anymore, you can't go back," he said matter of factly--not gloating, yet. That was just the way it was. The sooner Shinji accepted that, the better. "Your home is with me now, so get used to it." He kept ahold of Shinji's wrist as he headed for the door, stopping to grab the few things he had stashed here--some money and a shiny new cell phone that he thought was the coolest thing ever.

Date: 2006-06-12 01:29 am (UTC)A cold sinking feeling entered Shinji. Kippei said that wasn't home anymore; that this was home.
"Was I...sold?" Without even being told? The hell?

Date: 2006-06-12 01:34 am (UTC)"You're mine, and you're not a pet anymore. Pets get sold and they get old and they die, and none of that is ever going to happen to you. I'm not letting you go ever." He started walking again, still holding Shinji's wrist--he'd rather hold his hand, but he was pretty sure Shinji would still try to get away from him if Kippei gave him the chance. A few bruises wouldn't hurt him anyway.

Date: 2006-06-12 01:45 am (UTC)"You're weird." And he burst out laughing at him, because really it was the only thing he could do. He couldn't fight the bastard, he couldn't argue with him because Kippei seemed to think that what he thought was law. All he could do was laugh at him. He couldn't even die. Whatever. He fished around in his pocket and found his old cd player, taking the headphones and putting one in his ear, then reaching up to put one in Kippei's ear. It was Stravinsky, and Shinji had spent a week now learning to dance to it and practising over and over until he had it perfect, but that didn't mean he didn't need to practise more. It needed to be better than perfect or it wasnt good enough. One day he would show it to Master.

Date: 2006-06-12 01:51 am (UTC)"Not as weird as you," he countered absently, keeping an eye out for trouble as they headed for the bus station. The airport wasn't that far away, but it was too far to walk when he had to keep such close tabs on this recalcitrant human. Still, he was in a good mood, having gotten what he came for and looking forward to dealing with Shinji's stubbornness--it was interesting, even when it annoyed the hell out of him.

Date: 2006-06-12 01:58 am (UTC)"Where are we going?"
no subject
Date: 2006-06-12 02:03 am (UTC)"We're going to the... airport," he answered, having to search for the word. "Going to fly," he added, and he couldn't help the touch of wondering amazement under the words, at the idea that humans had invented something that could fly, and they were going to ride in it. It seemed incredible, but everything he'd discovered in the last few weeks seemed to say that it was commonplace and nothing out of the ordinary, and he shook his head, bemused. A world where the little humans flew in the sky every day; he'd sure missed a lot.

Date: 2006-06-12 02:11 am (UTC)"Do you have weird teeth? Sanada has weird teeth and he's old. Just how long were you asleep for anyway? You know you still have dust in your hair? It's kind of funny actually...the dust, not your hair, the hair is nice. I dont get that though; your hair keeps growing after you die, so how come vampire hair doesnt keep growing. That's weird and not normal at all, but I suppose vampires arent really normal to humans or something." For some reason holding Kippei's hand made him feel better and he didn't really want to go away. He just wished Master was with them; that they could all go catch a plane together. He didn't want to be away from Master at all but he didn't really want to be away from Tachibana either. He couldn't explain why.
"Where is the plane going?"

Date: 2006-06-12 08:41 am (UTC)Kippei was very pleased that Shinji was his. It was about time that somebody appreciated him properly, in Kippei's opinion. That Akutsu had no idea what he was missing. Kippei didn't think he deserved to have Shinji at all. Nobody else could possibly want Shinji as much as he did.
The movie was fairly entertaining, however, although it made him shake his head, bemused at the odd ideas of humans. Still, it was pretty good and Shinji seemed to like it, so Kippei figured it was as good a way as any to pass the time. He was a little disappointed with the whole flying thing. It didn't seem to be nearly as exciting as it sounded.

Date: 2006-06-12 08:58 am (UTC)He licked his lips, remembering the taste of Shinji's skin, of his blood. It didn't make much sense to him that Akutsu didn't seem to want Shinji in the same way, that Shinji was just a pet to him, like any other and nothing particularly special. Shinji burned in Kippei's senses, something incandescent, and he didn't know if it was just him or if really, no one else saw him that way. He pondered this mystery until the plane landed, breathing a sigh of relief because he could finally take Shinji home.

Date: 2006-06-12 09:23 am (UTC)"Russia," he agreed, looking pleased with himself. As if he'd known beforehand that this was the perfect place to bring Shinji. He'd gotten lucky, but he didn't mind taking credit for it anyway. Luck only got you so far, after all. "Come on," he said, impatient now. "Lets go." They had a lot to do, sort of. They hadn't brought anything with them, and there wasn't going to be much at the house. First order of business was shopping.
Kippei took Shinji's hand again as they made their way off the plane, and headed for the nearest city directory. Moscow had changed a lot too, since the last time he was here. Still, a lot of it was familiar and he was still in a damn good mood as he called a cab for them. Public transportation hadn't changed all that much, he supposed.

Date: 2006-06-12 09:45 am (UTC)Kippei frowned slightly as he set to work on another problem--how to get there. The house was a good way outside of town, though considering how much the city appeared to have grown, perhaps not so far as it used to be. Maybe he should learn to drive. The house should probably be cleaned, though, and overall he figured it would be just as well to get a room here in the city for the night.

Date: 2006-06-12 10:20 am (UTC)"You're not a pet," he said again, wondering if repeating things enough times would help it finally sink in. "You're mine, and I have more than enough money for both of us." He looked at Shinji for a minute and frowned slightly. "I'd give you some of your own but I'm not sure you'd know what to do with it," he muttered to himself. Anyway, better for Shinji not to have money to run away with.
"You're mine, so get used to it. Nothing is the same as it was. You're with me and you're going to stay with me, and that means we both need clothes." He paused, thinking of something else. "Are you hungry?"
no subject
Date: 2006-06-12 10:26 am (UTC)"I guess," he realised, but Kippei didnt need to eat like Shinji did. "But we can just grab some takeaway in a mall or something." He didn't want to be annoying. If he was annoying Kippei might try to get rid of him, and then he would have to try and find his way back to Japan with no money and no Kippei.

Date: 2006-06-12 10:30 am (UTC)"You can have whatever you want," he said carelessly. They had plenty of time now, and it wasn't like he cared what Shinji wanted to eat. He might as well enjoy human food while he still could. "You want to stop somewhere first?"
