xp log: Kippei and Shinji

Kippei was entirely unhappy with the whole mutant registration thing. It sucked, and it was stupid, and it made him mad as hell. Normally he didn't have anything to worry about, his mutation wasn't obvious as long as he stayed on the ground, and he wasn't an idiot. He still hated it on general principle.

"Some days," he said grimly to Shinji after he heard the news, "I seriously consider taking you and leaving, find a place way out in the middle of nowhere to live where we'll never have to see humans ever again."
