lg: kippei and shinji and ann

Kippei hadn't really thought about it that Ann would be there when they got home. Shinji was coming over and that was about the only thing on his mind at the moment. He wanted to run all the way home, but he doubted Shinji would want to, so he contented himself with walking as quickly as possible, telling Shinji all about the game and generally feeling high as a kite. He was talking too much, way more than he usually did, but he was excited, more than he should be, and he wanted Shinji to have fun, so he was a little bit nervous. It wasn't like they'd never done this before, but they'd never done this like this.

However, Ann was there when they got home, calling out a greeting as they came in and he came back down to earth a little, remembering their conversation and his sister's sharp eyes and wondering if this was maybe a bad idea.

"Hi, An-chan," he told her, with somewhat less enthusiasm than usual. "You want something to drink?" he asked Shinji over his shoulder as they made their way into the kitchen.
