I still have mixed feelings about the current arc at oob... I'm not sure that it accomplished what it set out to, although maybe it did. Some of it, anyway.

I have my doubts that Kippei and Akira are really done with that issue, although it's possible they really have finally worked it out this time. I was a lot more upset about it before. It's okay now, for the time being at least.

Kippei and I both are less than happy about the lasting effects it has on Shinji, though. I really should finish the future fic where they really did lose Akira, maybe add some more detail. Although it's fine as it is, I think.

I need to finish sorting and reorganizing the story so far, figuring out where the last couple of arcs start and end. I'm not even sure where arc seven ends, at this point. I'm fairly certain that we just started arc nine, though, with this new storyline.

Well, they may have worked out their issues enough to go on -- since they actually do love each other and know it now. That doesn't mean that they've put everything to rest -- life is a lot messier, but that they are in a place where they can go on without it tripping them up every few steps.

Well, yeah... I mean it's definitely enough to go on with, but just... not convinced that the issue's completely settled. That one or both of them won't still end up doubting it again. It seems like.... I dunno.

Kippei and Akira have never had the bond between them that either of them have with Shinji. They love each other, yeah, and I don't think either of them has ever really questioned that. The questions are about why.

We have arcs? (*lol* *is clueless*)

Anyways, of course the issue isn't that settled. I don't remember Aki ever thinking everything was *poof!* fixed now. It was more like the first step for him; he's not going to magically understand everything or even be as open as he was then overnight. I know he told Shinji everything was fine now, but that was just as much for Shinji's benefit as his own.

And well, you'll notice Kippei and Aki don't nearly spend enough time where its one on one. So they have more of a bond when its the three of them, and they somewhat rely on Shinji for that, than they can relate to each other alone. I think they still take each other for granted that they'll be there, Kippei to Aki and Aki to Kippei. While Kippei may have been shaken up by Aki's "death" and Aki always worried about Kippei leaving, they'd probably still have that somewhere deep down.

Mm. I'm babbling. If we wanna get into the whys lets just lock the muses up together in a closet XD

Gotta go for now, but will you be on later?

Course we have arcs. ;) Check out Kippei's memories if you are curious what they are.
