xp log: kippei, shinji, ohtori, shishido - double date

When Kippei had given Shinji Ohtori's number, he had figured they would end up seeing the kid sooner or later, since he certainly didn't like the idea of the two of them meeting up alone. Ohtori had mentioned ice cream, which sounded good enough to him, and Shinji would definitely go for that.

He hadn't really expected it to turn into this big thing that was practically a double date, with Shinji and Ohtori just being excited to go out for ice cream and him and Shishido kind of getting drug along for the ride by their respective boyfriends. Still, it did sound like fun even if it was going to be a bigger deal than he'd been planning on, so he didn't complain and merely promised himself to stick as close as possible to Shinji while they were out.

"Ready to go?" he asked Shinji when it was about time to go meet the others at the place Shinji had picked out.

Kippei left immediately, as soon as he told Shinji he was going to, not entirely sure that Shinji wouldn't have followed through on his threat to go to Kenya's. If he did, Kippei was going to be more than mad. He was going to cause some serious destruction until he found Shinji again. Maybe he didn't know where Kenya lived, but he bet if he went to that bar of his and started major trouble, someone would be calling him in.

Hopefully, though, Shinji would either have the sense to stay put or else Kippei would manage to get there before he left. He pushed the speed limit all the way there, just in case, and didn't bother to take time to lock the car as he jumped out and took the stairs two at a time all the way up to Shinji's apartment.

"Shinji!" he shouted, banging on the door. "You better be in there!"
