potg: shinji and kippei

Kippei hated more than ever the days that Shinji had to go back--he'd had more than enough time without Shinji, he felt, and it wasn't fair of the universe to continue to impose this restriction on them, even when Shinji was feeling better now. He would get sick again if he didn't go back every few days. Kippei tried not to resent this; it was just the way it was. But it bothered him, anyway. Still he was relieved that Shinji was back again, and hopefully feeling up to going out and doing something. Kippei had plans, if so.

He picked Shinji up at the hotel as usual, but instead of going home immediately, he paused outside, looking around. "You want to get hot chocolate again?" And then maybe something else.
